THE OFFICIAL SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL BALLET COMPETITION MIA CORAK SLAVENSKA IN ZAGREB ON JULY 2&3, 2010 IS COMPLETE. 30 DANCERS FROM 10 COUNTRIES HAVE APPLIED.

1.         COMPETING CATEGORIES

 

A)                Male and female dancers until the age of 18 (on the date of the Competition the candidates must not be over 18).

Candidates in category A must prepare two variations from the classical repertoire.

 

B)        Male and female dancers between the age of 18 and 22 (on the date of the Competition the candidates must not be over 22).

Candidates in category B must prepare two variations or a pas de deux and one contemporary choreography, solo or a duet of their own choice; duration up to 5 minutes.

 

C)        Male and female dancers between the age of 22 and 28 (on the date of the Competition the candidates must not be over 28).

Candidates in category C must prepare two variations or a pas de deux and one contemporary choreography, solo or a duet of their own choice; duration up to 5 minutes.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF BALLET ARTISTS MIA CORAK SLAVENSKA 26.02.2010.
The Ballet Competition Mia Èorak Slavenska will become international from this year. All interested male and female ballet dancers until the age of 28 can apply and compete.

The Competition will take place at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb on July 2 and 3, 2010.
