2)Our Ballet Society initiatied co-operation with the Croatian Association of Composers and ballet dancers from CNT in Rijeka performed at the International Music Festival in Pula in November 2002.
3) With the help of our Ministry of Culture and the City Office for culture, our Society has been able to send one very talented young dancer Ksenija Krutova to the Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg to a one year scholarship.
4)For the first time after many years we have achieved that several of our members were granted the status of free-lance artists. With this year´s newly accepted members, we have in total 9 free-lance ballet artists.
5) In Slavonski Brod, the home town of Mia Corak Slavenska, the famous ballerina that lived and died in the States, as an Hommage to her, our Society has promoted the book "125 years of Professional Ballet in Croatia" and given a ballet performance The Merry Widow produced by Ballet troupe CROATIA. This February our initiative will go on and there will be a round table, another promotion of a book about her, a ballet performance, etc.
6)We have founded a branch of our Society at the Croatian National Theatre in Osijek. It used to have a ballet ensemble but it was shut down, and now we are trying to help them build a new ballet foundation.
7)The cooperation with the Croatian Association of Dramatic Artists has been very good and for the annual award for the season 2002/2003, the opera and ballet categories have been separated and have become independent.
8)Our Society has helped young dancers and choreographers to apply to different foreign competitions and grants. Stasa Zurovac went to Hannover with Olja Jovanovic and was granted the second prize, Mark Boldin very successfully performed in Graz, and two dancers took the Summer Course at the Hungarian academy for Dance.
9)We are also in contact with the Slovenian Association of Ballet dancers because we have mutual problems regarding pensions for dancers that worked both in Slovenia and Croatia.
